Guys I did It!!!!! I ran a half Marathon and I documented the whole thing for you guys! It seriously was life changing because now I know that I can do ANYTHING if I do little consistent steps to get there. I can apply this experience with Running to anything in life. Now I can finally call myself a runner! And I love running now! I NEVER thought I would say those words. It still feels surreal… Honestly, I think it’s because the steps it took to get to where I am now were so gradual that I didn’t even notice the progress I was making. It’s like what Justin always says at the end of a seminar, “take it down a notch and just get to work and get crap done.” The majority of everything we do is just grinding things out and doing it. People go to these seminars or listen to these books or podcasts and get on these highs and then they go home and the next day they forget all about it and don’t apply anything.

If I went from running only a mile to running 13 over night then it would be this crazy awesome miracle! But…since I gradually started running farther and farther I could see the half marathon coming and it just happened with the flow of my daily consistent habits over 3 months. It just fell right into play of my actions. I think so  many people expect these big CRAZY moments when they accomplish their goals or dreams but really from doing daily consistent steps they just subtly creep up on you without you even realizing it. Then one day you’re like omg I’m running a marathon! Or… omg I’m a millionaire!! So Cool!
