Hey everyone! Tara here. Until I started putting it out there that I’m a mother and an entrepreneur, I had no idea how many women and men were out there in the same situation, trying to balance the family and work.
Honestly, it can be a huge challenge. I hear this all the time…
How do you balance full-time parenting with starting and running a business? How do you get anything done?
In today’s episode, I dig into what my usual “day” looks like, including my exact daily schedule and how I break up my time between taking care of the kids and getting work done…
Episode 40: Show Notes
A few things we cover in today’s episode!

- A quick glimpse at what my calendar looks like…
- How I use very moment of my day (and why I love it)…
- Why I like to find little moments each day to really connect with each of my kids…

Tara! I love love LOVED this podcast. It’s so refreshing, and such a need in my life to hear about the lives and real schedules of other mompreneurs. My day is usually structured very similarly to yours, but on Sunday evening, my husband tore a groin muscle that is keepung him basically bedridden. The past few days have been a struggle taking care of three kids, my pregnant self, and a helpless husband. Sigh. I am going to need to re-evaluate my daily schedule and tasks to accommodate these sudden changes, but hey–that’s part of being a parent, wife and business owner, right? :) Prayers appreciated!! Your honesty and transparency are certainly encouraging.
Much love!
Luci
Thanks Luci! I’m glad you benefited from it! Even knowing there are mothers out there doing this with me helps a ton. I’m so sorry about your husband. That is a huge burden put on both of you. The interesting thing is, is that when obstacles like this happen and we have to adjust to certain situations because we have no other option. We realize that we are capable of taking on so much more than we realized. You got this Luci! Your family is in our prayers.
