JENNY!!!!! Just do it! If having that diploma would make a difference in how much money you made doing what you love – then I’d say ‘yes’ – finish school; however, it sounds to me like that is the one thing holding you back from focusing on your true passion FULL TIME!! Woooo Hooooo! Go for it Jenny! Follow your heart. Staying in school right now is only costing more money out of your pocket. And if saying to yourself, “Yeah, I completed school!” Is important to you – then you’ve already accomplished that before when you finished hair school. So, ask yourself (honestly) if completing school now is helping you or holding you back and you’ll have your answer right there.
P.S. Yes, you can ALWAYS go back later and finish school if that’s something that you want to do. It’s never too late to do that. School will always be there – but, will having this opportunity to make a million dollars always be there? Maybe not, so grab the bull by the horns Girlfriend, and make your dreams come true!! I’m rooting for you and you inspire me more than you know! #TeamDropOut lol
Amanda!! Thank you so much for your comment! It seriously helps to hear other peoples opinions outside of my circle of people close to me. It really is a tough decision and I think Justin was right, the main thing holding me back is pride. Now the question is…am I willing to let go of my pride? When ever people hear some one say they dropped out of school there’s immediately this negative connotation to it. At least that has been my experience. But I know I need to let that all go and have confidence in myself to take action and do what I wanna do. Thank you so much for your advice! You have a lot of good points! :)

Dropping out of school has such a negative connotation attached to it. But that’s because the majority of people think you need to go to school if you want to do well in life. These are the people who think that the only route through life is to get a good job and work for someone else. They think that being a millionaire is just something you get if you are either lucky, win the lottery, or inherit a load of money from your family. Being a millionaire is not even on their radar, and so going to school is seen as the ‘right’ thing to do to get a good job, because most ‘good’ jobs working for a ‘good’ company these days require you to have school grades or a university degree.
You are already in the 1% of people who see the other path. And on that path, school education means nothing. Laugh at the people who tell you dropping out of school is a poor decision. They have not yet seen the light.
Vicky Yess!! You are speaking my mind right here! Everything you just said in this comment resonates with me so much. I love where you talk about how people think that the only route is to go to school and get a good job and that becoming a millionaire is just by luck or inheritance. You hit it SPOT on! It’s so interesting because before I started this whole journey…I think I thought pretty similar to that or to be honest I just didn’t really think about it a whole lot. Like you said, it wasn’t on my radar. Now that it is, my whole perception of becoming a millionaire has completely changed. I feel like if I’d be going any other route, I’d be cutting myself short. There’s a quote that I love that says “You can spend your whole life helping someone else live their dream or you can live your own. ” Hmmm…I think I’ll live my own! :)
It’s spooky how clever some ppl are. Thnask!

Aaaahhh! I am so pumped after listening to this episode. It’s something that my husband and I have been speaking about for awhile. Do we encourage our kids to go to college or do we encourage them to be bigger and follow their dreams? He has always been part of “the no college” team and at first I wasn’t. Now as a grown up and realizing what you can learn outside of school, I have switched sides. Yes, I do have a 4 year degree. It was more for my family though. I come from a huge family and am the second one to ever attend and finish school so going to college is a huge accomplishment for us. However, I do nothing related to my field of study and I’ve recently quit my job to be a stay at home mom and work on building a brand.
Follow your dreams Jenny!! If what you are currently taking up doesn’t interest you, don’t waste any more time on it. You have an amazing support system and I have faith that you will totally be a millionaire in 5 years and will kick butt in your first marathon!!!
Tight hugs from NYC!
Desirre we are glad you’re on board!lol See, finishing school in your case was important to you. It meant something. Are you using your degree still? No…but it was still a big accomplishment for you! That is what is most important, what it means to the person. You followed your heart. We hope Jenny will follow hers!
Thanks for the support Desirre! I appreciate it so much! You’re right…why am I wasting time studying things that I’m not even going to use? Ahhhh such a big decision!! Thanks for having faith in me! I need it!!

If you have grown this much in the past several weeks by following a different path than everyone else, how much more will you grow in the next 5 years by continuing on it?
Or, put another way, if you could erase the past several weeks, who would you be today instead? Is that someone you want to continue being? If not, then stay on your current path.
Good luck either way! :-)
Wow Mark, that is a really good point! Thank you for your advice, it’s really profound and exactly what I needed to hear right now.
