This man named Rick sent me this really though out encouraging email that really got me thinking. I did a little video to share my thoughts on it. He told me to change my story and get rid of my negative thoughts and so I responded to him and asked him how to do that and this is what he said…
“Jenny, trying to stop the negative thoughts is like trying to stop the wind from blowing. Just become a watcher of those thoughts. Allow the thoughts to be. Make friends with them and let them know that they can hang around but they no longer serve you.
You can do this. I believe in you.”
I’ve never thought of that before! Great insight Rick! Inspired!
You’re awesome Jenny! In one of your videos you said only Mom and God believe in you, but I do too! You really are so amazing and have so many talents and strengths! Just the fact that you are so willing to put yourself out there like this and be so honest and open is a strength! I don’t think I could do that! I am so proud of you and look forward to listening to the podcast every wed! I love you! ?
Trenda!! Everyone…Trenda is my older sister!:) Thank you so much for your sweet words and for believing in me! That seriously means the world to me. I look up to you so much! Thanks for your positive influence in my life and for all of your support in my journey.Who knows…maybe you’ll be next up for the challenge!;) Love you!
Changing these habits are so hard, I went through it (and still go through it) daily. Tara is right, it is a habit that needs constant care and feeding to adjust. Here is something that helps me with those negative thoughts Rick was talking about.
